טיילנו קבוצה של 5 בנות ונעזרנו הרבה ברוני עוד בשלב של תכנון הטיול, וגם לאחר שהמשכנו לטייל בלעדיו הוא עזר לנו בסידורים שונים. היה מעולה!!! רוני זרם לפי הרצונות והשיגעונות שלנו (5 בנות- זה לא פשוט... :)) מאוד ממליצה! הטיול היה חוויה אמיתית והרבה בזכות ההתנהלות של רוני שדאג שנהנה ונתפנק לפי מה שמתאים לנו... מאוד מאוד מומלץ! תודה על ה-כ-ל!!!

A very enlightening experience, which I wrote about in my evaluation for OAT, expressing the value of spending time with you and their shortcoming in not providing the Jewish experience to all passengers as part of their agenda.

הגענו אליך דרך הרב של חבד. את הדירה שלך השכרת לנו וכן ארוחת שבת חמה. נהנינו מהסיור הרגלי בשבת אחה"צ, בה הפגנת ידע רב בהסטוריה מקומית ויהודית. כ"כ למדנו ממך רבות על אורח החיים היהודי בקרואטיה , המחייב מסירות נפש. בהצלחה בהמשך.

דרך בית חבד בזאגרב הופנינו לרוני לגבי ארוחות כשרות לשבת, רוני לא רק שקיים את מה שהבטיח אלא הרבה מעבר לכך , הן לגבי איכות והן לגבי הכמות. את האוכל שמרנו במקרר כי לא היה לנו פלטת שבת , האוכל היה משובח גם כשהיה קר,מעבר לאוכל רוני גם הדריך אותנו לגבי אתרים ודרכי גישה טובים וקצרים , ממליים בחום, ובע"ה כשניסע אנו שוב נישתמש בשרותיו הטובים של רוני . רוני תודה מקרב לב

The love and knowledge he has for Judaism is a beautiful thing. Roni went out of his way to help me understand and feel comfortable in Croatia. Roni is the Best!!

Roni was our guide for 2 weeks in Croatia. His knowledge of history was incredible. The history of the area finally fell into place. The special experiences that he provided helped us to understand the people and culture of Croatia. He went out of his way to make our trip unique. His calm personality and quiet sense of humor make Roni the perfect guide. We would love to travel with him again.

Our travels in Croatia would not have been the same had we not met the Brandls. They were kind enough to set us up with the perfect apartment at a great price right in the center of the city. They provided us with delicious home-cooked Shabbos meals and even invited us over for chullent with their family Shabbos morning. Roni gave us great travel advice, re-organizing our trip with us, definitely for the better. They provided us with a personal view of Jewish life in Zagreb and even gave us a little tour of the city. Their list of kosher food in the supermarket was also indispensable. If you're ever in Croatia and want to have a wonderful trip without going hungry, meet up with the Brandl's.

On a recent trip to Croatia, we were privileged to have Roni Brandl as our tour guide who came close to perfect with a winning combination of humor, energy and a profound love for his religion and beloved Zagreb. We were impressed with his knowledge of history, customs and ideology of the people and his ability to make a tourist feel very welcome.
Roni went out of his way to make sure all our wishes, both expressed and implied were fulfilled and instilled a confidence that he could, and would take care of everything.

רוני תודה לך ולמיכל על קבלת הפנים והארוחות שקבלנו.
המחיר סביר ביותר והאוכל טעים מאד. אגב, שמרנו את הבשר במקרר ואכלנו אותו ביום ראשון. היה טעים.
הצימר היה אומנם קטן אבל נקי וקרוב מאד לבית הכנסת. כך יכולנו לחוות שבת בקהילת זאגרב. היה מענין מאד לפגוש אנשים חדשים.
אני ממליץ למי שמבקר בקרואטיה, לבקר גם בקהילת זאגרב ולעמוד מקרוב על אורח החיים של האנשים ששומרים על יהדותם למרות הקשיים. בית הכנסת שלכם מקורי בעיצוב הפנים ולדעתי יפה מאד.
